Welcome. My name is Peta Moran and I will be your Year Advisor throughout your schooling at Parkes High School.
You can find me in the PDHPE Staffroom, upstairs in B Block, next to B8 .
My role as Year Advisor is to introduce you to the school, help you settle in and answer some of your questions. That might mean just helping you read your timetable or find your classroom. I am also here to help if you are worried about something or just want to have a chat.
Throughout the year I read your reports and keep an eye on how you settle in. I am a contact person if your parents or carers need to know how you choose your electives subjects for Years 9 and 11 or if they want to know how you are progressing.
Our goal is to make you as happy and safe at Parkes High School as possible. That way you can do your best and enjoy your time with us.
I look forward to getting to know all of you and to watch you grow and develop over the coming years.
